Hi and welcome! My name is Hyla Bizzell and I am so excited to be a part of the Kindergarten team at Village Elementary! I am a graduate of Georgetown High School and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. I started at Village Elementary as a parent when the school opened in 1998 and my daughter began Kinder. I have been a part of the Village staff since 2006. I live in Georgetown with my Goldendoodle, Bentley. My daughter, Amanda, is a neonatal nurse practitioner with St.David's in Austin, my son is a Civil Engineer with Steger Bizzell in Georgetown, and my son, Aaron is a Junior at Texas A&M University. When I'm not at Village, I enjoy watching sports, especially basketball, working in my yard, and going to the movies!
My name is April Seaback, and I am so honored to be teaching Kindergarten--Reading/Writing/Phonics at Village Elementary. I grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas, then received my undergraduate and masters degree from Baylor University. I have lived in Georgetown for the last 25 years with my husband, Doug. We have four children--Luke, Kyle, Anna Kate and Ali. All four of our children went to Village, so my time here began as a parent. I started teaching Pre-K at Village before moving to Kindergarten--I have a passion for the little ones! In my free time, I enjoy going to the lake with my family, watching college football, and playing with my dogs. I also love to travel--especially to the beach!
¡Hola! ¡Estoy tan emocionada de estar en Village! Estaré enseñando el idioma dual de Kindergaten. Asistí a la Universidad de Purdue donde me gradué con una licenciatura. He sido maestra por 5 años. Cuatro años como maestra de prekínder y uno como maestra de segundo grado. Toda mi experiencia de maestra ha sido con Georgetown ISD. Hello! I am so excited to be at Village! I will be teaching Kindergaten dual-language. I attended Purdue University where I graduated with a bachlor's degree. I have been a teacher for 5 years. Four years as a prekindergaten teacher and one as a second grade teacher. All my teaching experience has been with Georgetown ISD. I hope this year will be filled with making new friendships, fun, and lots of learning. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Hello! My name is Madelyn Smith and I am thrilled to be joining the Kindergarten team at Village Elementary! I was born and raised in McKinney, Texas, and attended East Texas Baptist University where I received my undergraduate degree in 2018. I previously taught Kindergarten in Community ISD from 2018-2023 and moved to Georgetown this summer to be closer to my extended family. Kindergarten is my favorite place to be and I have a big heart for the littles! When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and being outside!
