I am Mrs. Garza and I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. I have a bonus daughter who is 27 and a 17-month-old son. I have lived in Austin since 2012 and am thrilled to work in GISD! ¡Soy la Maestra Garza y nací y crecí en Brownsville, Texas. I previously taught dyslexia for 5 years and I will now be the bilingual reading and math interventionist. I received my Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2021 and this is my 12th year in education. I am very excited to start a new school year and work with students! Anteriormente enseñé dislexia durante 5 años y ahora seré el intervencionista bilingüe de lectura y matemáticas. Recibí mi Maestría en Liderazgo Educativo en 2021 y este es mi 12º año en educación. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar un nuevo año escolar y trabajar con los estudiantes!
